"Picture Bingo" is a fun and engaging game that’s similar to traditional Bingo, but uses images instead of numbers. It's great for all ages, as it can help enhance vocabulary, visual recognition, and listening skills. Here is how to play Picture Bingo:
Picture Bingo cards (each card filled with different images in a grid format)
A set of picture cards or tiles with images that correspond to those on the Bingo cards
Markers or tokens to cover the images on the Bingo cards
Distribute Bingo Cards: Give each player a Picture Bingo card.
Prepare the Picture Tiles/Cards: Shuffle the set of picture cards or tiles and keep them in a pile or a bag.
Draw and Announce an Image: The caller draws one picture card or tile from the pile (without looking) and shows it to all players or describes the image.
Mark the Image: Players check their Bingo cards for the announced image. If they have it, they cover that image with a marker or token.
Continue Drawing Images: The caller continues to draw and announce images, and players continue to mark their cards accordingly.
Check for Bingo: A player wins by being the first to cover a complete row, column, or diagonal of images on their Bingo card.
Announce the Win: The winning player shouts “Bingo!” to announce their win. Their card is then checked for accuracy.
Once a round is completed, you can play again by clearing all Bingo cards of markers or tokens and reshuffling the picture cards or tiles.
To add variety, consider using themes for the images, such as animals, shapes, or objects related to specific holidays or seasons.
Picture Bingo not only provides entertainment but also contributes to cognitive improvement.
We are currently working on building an online, interactive version of Picture Bingo. In the meantime, enjoy playing at home with your family, or play one of our other games online!
